Along with the keys outstanding grip the extra length and thickness allow cuffs to be Accessed and locked/unlocked at a distance whilst wearing slash resistant gloves without experiencing the difficulties of operating standard small keys or normal upgraded keys.
ZT Keys are manufactured to the highest standard and with no moving parts the Solid Shank Custody Key’s ring loop is drilled into its shank.
This key has been designed to withstand the pressures and forces experience when cuffing uncompliant persons and the lateral forces applied to the shank of the key in these situations (12 cm long, 1 cm thick). Made of heat-treated stainless steel, the Solid Shank Custody Key is designed to provide an indefinite period of service.
