The Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles are a product of close work between Wiley-X and the Special Forces.
A modular goggle for the new millennium’s soldier the CQC (Close Quarters Combat) goggles provide all round function for all operations conducted. They can be converted from a ballistic goggle into a set of fully functional eyewear at just a push of a button.
The streamlined design cuts through wind and fits the face closely and tightly. Whether you need protection for Urban Warfare, Land Warfare, sun, dust wind or snow, the Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles has it all.
Allowing simultaneous NVG (Night Vision Goggles) usage, the Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles meet and exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety standards, ANSI Z80.3 optical standards and Mil Spec MIL-PRF-31013 Vo for fragmentation as well as most other standards required for tactical goggles and ballistic eyewear.
The Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles come equipped with two sets of ballistic, polycarbonate lenses. Each lens is 2.5mm thick and is clear coated with an anti-fog solution, giving the user a perfect, unobstructed view. Add the silicone, scratch resistant coating and you have the best optical quality, ballistic lenses available.
Where as traditional, protective goggles use foam that breaks down after a short amount of time, some don’t use foam at all and have opted for a rubber ridge to pad the users face. This rubber type of ridge gets slippery when the wearer sweats and becomes very uncomfortable over a period of time. The Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles use their exclusive Ultra Foam seal which is far more durable than traditional foam and much more comfortable than the rubber ridged competitors.
The snap-on temples of the Wiley-X Ballistic CQC Goggles are removable and can be replaced with a Tactical Strap which has a Tri-Glide to adjust the length. The snap-on side shields provide extra debris protection.
