We have just received the new Tactical Jack torch - TJ1 Protector LED into stock. It truly is one of the best police torches I’ve seen for its price in a long long time.
A number of the team here at Patrol Store are self-confessed torch spotters, and we regularly have arguments over which is the best torch and which is best in each price range. The Tactical Jack TJ1 Protector High Intensity LED Torch is a compact tactical torch ideal for Police, Security and general use.
Featuring a high intensity 1 watt LED with a 45 Lumen output, this torch is ideal for tactical operations and self defence (featuring a focused beam bright enough to temporarily blind and disorientate).
The use of an LED instead of an incandescent lamp also means that the torch has an extended burn time of over 50 hours!
This torch really is great; instead of running off costly lithium batteries, Tactical Jack have created a great new battery system allowing you to run the torch on 3 x AAA batteries. This may not sound too exciting but when you go to buy batteries and see the difference in price I think you will understand why I mention it.
Possibly the most functional feature of this torch is its On / Off Tailcap switch which can be thumb activated for single handed use which makes it ideal for tactical situations.
